Hi, I'm Leah — pastry chef by day, bookbinder by heart.
"I love finding a forgotten book at a thrift store and giving it an entirely new life — something one of a kind that someone will treasure for years."
By day I work full-time as a pastry chef, but outside the kitchen you'll almost always find me surrounded by books, fabric, paper and some sort of craft project. When I discovered the art of book rebinding, I was completely hooked — and it quickly became one of my favorite things to do.
And I mean handmade when I say handmade. I make everything myself — from the books and bookmarks to the labels on my products, the packaging they come in, even the tablecloth on my market table. Every little detail is part of the creative process.
Leah Binds Books is about more than making pretty things. It's about rescuing stories, creating with my own two hands and sharing my love of books — with a whole lot of creativity, a little bookish obsession and a genuine love for the craft.

Processing Time
Ready-to-ship items leave the studio within 2–4 business days. Custom rebinds are truly made to order and typically take 2–4 weeks, and I will always confirm a timeline with you first.
Shipping
Orders ship within the United States with tracking. Flat-rate shipping is $6, and shipping is free on orders over $50. You will get a tracking number by email as soon as your package is on its way.
Returns & Refunds
If something arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, message me within 7 days with a photo and I will replace it or refund you. Custom rebinds and personalized pieces cannot be returned unless there is a mistake on my end.
Care & Quality
Rebound books are made to be read and loved — keep them out of direct sunlight so the covers stay bright. Spot-clean fabric bookmarks and roll-ups, and wipe magnetic bookmarks clean with a soft cloth.
